Catalyst France - Growth and Teamwork

When someone steps down from a ministry organization itis often difficult to transition to a new job. When some one starts a new ministry it typically is challenging getting it off the ground. Leaving a ministry organization and then immediately starting a new organization is "hard squared". But I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We are not doing this because it's easy but because we believe in the visionGod has given us, and we trust Him to take care of the details.

The exciting thing about this transition has been the support people have shown us. In a faith ministry completely funded by donors, any change can potentially scare away some of your existing donors... or so we thought. The amazing thing is that new people have been coming to us saying, now that we have taken this new step of faith, they want to support our ministry financially.

Yesterday, I had breakfast with a guy I meet with once or twice a month. He said that when we stepped down from our organization but were still committed to the same vision, and willing to continue on our own, he was convinced. He said that the organizational stuff clouded the vision, but now the vision is clear. I can't tell you how many similar conversations we have had like this . We have more people, more involved now than we have ever had. This is what it is all about.

It takes teamwork to make the dream work.
